Emmanuelle Alt has been promoted from Fashion Director to Editor in Chief of French Vogue replacing Carine Roitfeld. Emmanuelle’s first issue will be in April and radical changes to the magazine are not expected.
Alt began her career in 1990 at Elle - becoming fashion director at 20 - before undertaking the same role at Mixte, where she worked until 2000. Then she worked as a fashion director for French Vogue under Roitfeld for the duration of her editorship.
Emmanuelle Alt is a long time style icon known for her chicly disheveled blazer and tailored pants look. What I personnaly love on her is her real rock style and her natural beauty!
"It's a great honor for me, but also a great pleasure to be at the head of Vogue Paris, which I know very well," said Alt. "While working with very talented teams, I will task myself with developing the incredible potential of Vogue Paris."
