Living in Style: Ralph Lauren’s apartment in Manhattan

When I saw this apartment, I wanted to share it with you. I love the simplicity and the ecclectic choice of the objects which make it unique.

I was surprised when I saw that this house belongs to Ralph Lauren, because I had imagined his house more classic and "heavy".

Ralph and Ricky Lauren in the entrance hall.

I love the library wall in the living room and the mixture of the vintage antique objects such as the binoculars and the floor lamps with the modernity of the rest of the room. The coffee table is by Ralph Lauren Home.

The painting in the library, Hero, is by the couple’s nephew Greg Lauren, and the clock is by Jaeger-LeCoultre.

I am in love with the vintage light fixtures by Wyethome hung above the dining table. The leather-upholstered chairs are by Ralph Lauren Home.

An original Star Wars storm trooper and a painting by Joseph Stashkevetch in the entrance hall.

White lacquer and stainless steel dominate the kitchen.

This is the master bathroom, which overlooks the Central Park.

  1. This space exemplifies luxury Manhattan real estate...just think of the selling price on an open floorplan like that! You're right, though. I would picture something more classic and less modern from Ralph Lauren.
