Living in Style : Rosita Missoni's apartment in Milan

This colorful apartment situated in a 30’s classic building belongs to Rosita and Ottavio Missoni - founders of the colourful knitwear company. For me, their home is the perfect example of bohemian chic style.

In the living room, I love Ottavio’s framed drawings. All the cushions on the sofa are from the Missoni home collection.

In the dining room, the blond wood Danish table and the Hans Wegner chairs are brought to life by psychedelic print cushions and dishes, both by Missoni. The walls are painted beige to bring out the watercolour painting by Ottavio Missoni as well as the striped commodes and the Gio Ponti red chandelier. The resin floor is designed to look like a Venetian terrazzo.

In the bedroom, a framed fabric in geometric motifs designed by Sonia Delaunay hangs above the bed. Next to the bed is a Philippe Starck chair customised for Missoni by Kartell.

In front of the Art Déco stained glass window of the 1930s, the two large balls signed by Edwin Niekel and Taco Regtien (Leolux) have been positioned on a black and white carpet (Missoni Home).
